Layered White Bean Hummus Dip

It is a delicious white beans recipe and have a creamy texture and so it is ideal to make hummus in a different way than the traditional. Basically is the same recipe as the hummus made with chickpeas. Super rich in flavor and nutrients. with several layers and will you turn into a wonderful dish and may vary as you want.

Ingredients for the white bean hummus

  • 2 (15 oz) cans of cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons of tahini
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika powder
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 5 fresh basil leaves
  • salt & fresh black pepper
  • Parsley,basil leaves,pine nuts

Layer ingredients

  • Carrots
  • Mushrooms
  • Chickpeas cooked or canned
  • 200gr feta cheese
  • 3 slices cooked ham
  • Olives
  • Sundried tomatoes
  • Sundried red bell pepper

Serve with tortillas, bread, crackers, pita bread

Combine white beans, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil,garlic, sweet paprika, reserved liquid, salt and pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. Sprinkle paprika or pepper and serve with a drizzle of olive oil.

For the Layers

Ingredients for the chickpeas: 2 teaspoons sweet paprika, 2 teaspoons cumin, 1 teaspoon dried garlic (flakes) salt & pepper
Note: If you do not have chickpeas for cooking buy then canned chickpeas

Roast the mushrooms,chicken, chickpeas, carrots Sprinkle salt and pepper,drizzly with olive oil for 25 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven.
